Ya Maka My Weekend starts Friday, August 13, 2010 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, August 14, 2010 at noon.
Ya Maka My Weekend is a signature festival for The District that was born in 1992. Reggae bands, steel drums, and beach music fill the streets. This arts & cultural event also features Caribbean-style food, an open air marketplace, island activities for kids, and a sand beach.
Located in Downtown Rock Island, Illinois on the Great River Plaza on 2nd Avenue between 17th & 19th Streets.
